The Brief: This client wanted to use strong colour to separate his site from all the black/white photo sites out there. I developed brand guidelines and a colour palette, and then chose photos from his portfolio to match and colour-code each section.
The Brief: This client needed to makeover a stale, downmarket brand and website to modernise them and reposition them in the market as a luxury-feeling, budget-priced holiday accommodation provider. The project included a brand refresh as well as integration with an online booking engine.
The Brief: This client wanted to reposition their site away from looking like a startup, and now as a fully-fledged mature company. The full design & build project included taking their original brand and adding new icons and visuals.
The Brief: This client needed to replace an old site that had grown organically and lost its way in the process. The design & build project included an interactive quiz to drive engagement & provide valuable business insight.
The Brief: This client had a starting point design in mind, which we built together through a series of collaborative co-working sessions, finished off with a little extra design polish and technical support from me after the sessions.
The Brief: This client wanted me to develop a new, modern look & feel to her existing Squarespace website, and to introduce new sections to keep her audiences engaged. She also wanted training on techniques to make it easier for her to manage her website, newsletter & online shop.
The Brief: With over half a million Instagram followers, this client was ready to upscale their website to match their heavyweight brand awareness. I took their existing very basic Squarespace website to the next level, with custom coding, content recommendations and structural changes.
The Brief: This hybrid project started as collaborative co-working sessions, and ended with extra design and coding outside the sessions. The result is a simple website available in both English and Arabic versions.
The Brief: This pro bono project was to take a plain text-heavy website that deals with serious social issues, and make it feel more approachable. The main challenge was not being able to use photography, so I incorporated vibrant colours, illustrations and gradients to make it feel modern and lively.
The Brief: This client wanted to work collaboratively from Day 1, including working together on defining site structure, page content elements, and user journeys. The design was carried out as a combination of collaborative sessions and my own time outside these sessions.
The brief: This client needed a fun, empowering website to showcase her professional, in-depth sports bra review and sizing content. I also worked with her on lead-generation and data capture elements such as email marketing and eBook downloads.
The Brief: DR use theatre skills to train business leaders & students, so they wanted a website that maintained a creative feeling, while still looking professional. I used bold colour blocks with creative blends of text+image on this design & build.
The Brief: This client came to me for a site polish; he’d reached his limits on Squarespace. I tidied up the navigation, applied some consistent branding elements, and made content adjustments to create a finished look.
The Brief: This client wanted a more polished website that better showcased their specific niche expertise and extensive experience. The project included image sourcing and artworking to create a cohesive brand look & feel.
The Brief: This client had great photos, but wanted my help in structuring, designing and building the website. We did this through a series of collaborative sessions, in which we sat together and the client directed while I carried out the design & build right there, on the fly - everything from choosing fonts to creating an availability calendar.
The Brief: As a business focused on digital technology, this client wanted to push the boundaries of Squarespace 7 and its striking new features. In addition to the design & build, this project included image research and artworking to use brand colours with powerful imagery to create a cohesive, impactful design.
The Brief: This client needed a modern, elegant, simplified website FAST as their old website hosting company was closing its doors. The client wanted to do some of the work in-house to keep costs down & upskill internal staff to design/manage themselves.
The Brief: This client needed a private wholesale e-commerce site that integrated seamlessly with their Squarespace brochure site. I helped them choose the right system, built and integrated it, and trained them on how to use it.
The brief: This client wanted a design overhaul for their existing Squarespace website. I helped to create a strong yet playful brand image by using their brand purple and powerful statements in their banner images.
The Brief: Create a minimal portfolio site and branding, based on the theme of stormy ocean blue. The site needed to showcase key pieces of work, while also demonstrating the full breadth of her experience.
The brief: This client wanted to build his website himself, with support and guidance from me. At the end of 2 co-working sessions, he had his framework and most key pages done, ready for him to finish on his own.
The Brief: This client needed help structuring the site as well as designing and building it. As the business was expected to grow and evolve, everything was done using techniques that would be easy for the client to change/add to in future.
The Brief: This client needed a creative portfolio that could be easily changed to match what he was pitching for, as well as a private area that could be shared with prospects and clients, but hidden from public view.
The brief: This client needed a simple website to set out his specialised niche business offering, as well as clean, modern branding elements that could be easily used offline in stationery and presentation material.
The Brief: Having started a Squarespace site himself, this client wanted me to come in and apply my expertise to structure the site, add some visual oomph, and apply some design flair through colours, page layouts and custom graphics.
The Brief: This client needed a simple, yet visually powerful website that would be easy for the team of volunteers to manage. I designed and built the site, and trained the team on how to administer everything, including audio mixes.
The Brief: On a very tight budget, develop a comms platform for a youth activist organisation and train the young people to use it themselves. This project was delivered for a comms agency who were working with the end client.
The Brief: This client wanted to redesign their online presence to create a site that marketed their business in a more polished and professional manner. In addition to design and build, this project included tweaking the copy for search engines, as well as creating and managing a Google Places page.
The Brief: Photography, artworking and website design/build to take full advantage of the new Squarespace 7 templates. The website needed to convey the client's fun and unique approach to hands-on innovation consulting.
The Brief: Create a demo site for Squarespace that shows how all of the different functions work, as well as giving examples of some more complex page types. This website accompanies my Squarespace book.
